Neovascular glaucoma demands urgent management.  The key is to address not only retinal ischaemia but also ocular and systemic factors.  Suppression of neovascularisation needs to undertaken before the advent of intractable angle closure.  This lectures addresses fundamental issues in the prevention of otherwise blinding disease.
